Coaches

Sara Fleming-Head Coach
Sara began coaching with the Aquaducks in December 2007 and will be returning as head coach again this year. She swam for Plano East Senior High and has been teaching swimming for over 10 years. She is working on her Master’s degree at UTD in Communication Disorders.  Sara is an ASCA Level 1 certified coach.

Andrew Sears-Assistant Coach
Andrew will be joining the Aquaducks as a coach in October 2011.  He previously swam for the Aquaducks and Bishop Lynch for 4 years.  He has worked as a swim insctructor and is currently a head lifeguard at Oak Point.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UNT and is pursuing a degree in Medical Technology from Texas Tech. 

Britton Cowles-Assistant Coach
Britton is in her 3rd year as an Aquaducks coach and her 4th year of teaching swimming lessons. From 2002- 2007 she swam for both Metroplex Aquatics and COPS. Currently she is working on her Associate of Arts degree at Collin College and will graduate in 2012.

Joscelyn Trompeter-Assistant Coach
Joscelyn began swimming with the Aquaducks in 2001 and continued swimming for the team through 2010. She made the transition to a coach in the fall of 2009 and is returning for her second summer. Joscelyn is a student at Collin College working towards an Associate’s degree in Biology.

Lindsay McCullagh-Assistant Coach
Lindsay has been coaching the Aquaducks since 2008. She began swimming at the age of six and has swam for COPS, Metroplex Aquatics and the Allen High School varsity team. She is a Junior at Arizona State University studying Business Communications and will graduate in May 2012.

Maggie O’Brien-Assistant Coach
Maggie has been swimming on Aquaducks since 2000 and began coaching in 2009. She swam on the varsity swim team for Plano East Senior High and has taught swimming for 5 years. Currently she is a Sophomore at Texas A&M University majoring in Computer Science and is on the Texas A&M Woman’s Water Polo Team.

Megan Morgan-Assistant Coach
Megan began swimming at the age of 8. She swam with the YMCA for a year before beginning with the Aquaducks where she swam through her senior year of high school. She began coaching for the Aquaducks 2 years ago. She attends TCU where she is working on a major in dance with a minor in education and english.

Samantha Quick-Assistant Coach
Samantha has been coaching with the Aquaducks for 2 years now. She swam for ATAC for 7 years then the Plano West Senior High varsity team for 3 years. Samantha also teaches swimming lessons and lifeguards at Oak Point Center. She will be starting cosmetology school in January.
